- Her family name, Oshikiri is very uniquie. Her grandmother is said to be from Yamagata Prefecture where there are many people with the family name, Oshikiri.
- She loves to read. She says she reads at least 3 books a week. Her favorite writer is Osamu Dazai.

During this time, she has gained 3 kg (6 lbs/pound) and got intrerested in cooking because she stayed at home, writing for the whole day.
- She has began dating Takahiko Nomaguchi, a professional baseball player for Yomimuri Giants, in 2005. She officially announced her serious relationship with Takahiko in 2008. However, the pair broke up in fall, 2009.
Then Nomaguchi announced his marriage to a model, Yuria Sato in 2011. She is a model for a fashion magazin, JJ.
