Trivia:

  • When Yoko was 9 years old, she saw a movie, “Rex: A Dinosaur Story” starring Yumi Adachi. Inspired by Yumi’s acting, she decided to become and actress then.

 

  • Waiting to turn 15, Yoko told her father that she is planning to audition for an acting school the following year. He strongly disapproved her joining the entertainment industry.

 

  • Despite her father’s disapproval, Yoko auditioned for an acting school, Mumei Jyuku in 1998 right after graduating from middle school. She became one of the five winners out of 1,000 applicants that year.

 

  • Yoko is a big fan of Ringo Sheena (Shiina). Therefore, when she was offered to sing a song for her starring movie, “The Ravine of Goodbye”, Yoko asked Ringo to write a song for her.
