Trivia:
- Initially, the role of Anne Yuri for the TV series of “Ultra Seven” was given to a different actress, that is Yoshiko Toyoura. Yoshiko, then, decided to accept an offer for a movie, therefore Yuriko was called in, instead.
- Since the costume for the TV series of “Ultra Seven” was originally made for Yoshiko Toyoura, Yuriko had to wear it small.
- Yuriko has never officially retired from acting, but she currently spends most of her time by working at her husband’s restraunt in order to help him.
- Yuriko and her husband has two daughters together.
- Yuriko’s nickname, Anne-Taiin, by her fans came from the role she played in Ultra Seven; Anne is the name and Taiin means “a member (of a party of a group)” in Japanese.
- Yuriko has a twitter account and tweets quite often. At one time, she tweeted to look for Linda Lee Hardisty, who appeared in the 14th and 15th episode of Ultra Seven, wishing to get reunited with her.
- After the movie, Godzilla vs. Gigan, being released and the TV series, Mirrorman finished in 1972, Yuriko thought she had to leave the show biz forever, because her contract with her talent agency was over by then and didn’t feel like continuing to act at the time.
