This is mother of Yu Yamada; her name is Mikako Yamada.
She has been a model herself throughout her life and was crowned for Miss Tokyo at age 18 and the first Miss Okinawa at age 22 after moving to Okinawa from Tokyo.
She is now a principal at Miss Universe Japan School in Okinawa and teaches her students how to walk and pose on a stange.
Reportedly, she is said to be way more famous and well known to the people in Okinawa than her daughter.
2) Yu’s Mother is even taller than the modeling daughter

As you can see, her mother is even taller than Yu. The height of the mother is 170 cm (5.58 ft).
